  A brand new feature has taken up residence at Atlanta Film Studios in Paulding County. The Warner’s Bros reboot of the wildly successful “Vacation” series will be filming through the end of November at the facility. Things are moving along nicely at Atlanta Film Studios these days and the phone is ringing with a new kind of client. The facility recently welcomed Shine America’s “Fake Off” a new competition series about the art of faking. The show sets up teams that are challenged to recreate and reimagine iconic moments in pop culture. Paulding County and Propeller Investments Announce Silver Comet Field

Paulding County officials announced today that they’ve entered into an agreement with Propeller Investments to develop Paulding Northwest Atlanta Airport, a public use, general aviation airport located 24 miles northwest of Atlanta. Paulding Northwest Atlanta Airport (KPJU) is owned by the County, with oversight administered through the Paulding County Airport Authority (PCCA). Obama Wants Jackie Robinson Pic Set Visit

Legendary Entertainment chief Thomas Tull tells Deadline that President Obama is hoping to drop by  the set of the Jackie Robinson biopic 42 on Tuesday. The President on June 26th will be appearing at fundraisers in Atlanta, where Legendary’s film is shooting. Tulls says they’d received a call from the White House earlier this week to see if it would be OK if Obama came by. “Well, of course I said it would be OK,” said Tull, who has given $35,800 to the Obama Victory Fund 2012 so far.
